| - I lived in an apartments at 438 S. graham for two years. It was a really nice old victorian they had reconstructed a decent kitchen space in. It was by far the cheapest one bedroom of quality I have seen - it made excellent use of a modicum of square footage and was delivered to me in a fresh state.
The windows - two of them would fall inwards if I moved them up or down incautiously. I did not particularly care, as I can be mindful. I manipulated them with a steady pressure to hold them against the frame. Easy. This is the reasoning for an excellent price, and I was happy to have the other values of the place and the management.
I had my sink clog twice and had it very promptly repaired by the maintenance team. I additionally wanted to add a line for high-speed internet, which they cleared me to do.
They were very cordial with me always; I'd walk to the office to drop off rent checks. I was late twice due to illness, and they excused me the technical fee of 50$ for being late (not late as of the 1st, they have a 5-day grace period - late as of the 6th, on paying for the prior month. It was bad illnesses, but I did not have to explicate that to them.)
Ryan is a particularly amicable person to deal with; he is pleasing to talk with, not at all dismissive, and very straightforward about any requests you may have. I never had any issues with any of the staff aside, either.
Leases do include an automatic renewal clause starting 3 months prior to move-out: It was very clear to me for my second year that I loved the place and it still fit my needs; as they changed (I moved in with a partner), it was clear that I needed to get somewhere bigger instead of staying for a third year.
