After reading the response from Freeway Chevrolet I think it's important correct their misinformation.
"At no time did the customer ever commit to any payment higher than the original $675.92" Yes, in fact we told your finance manager to see what he could work out with the sales department and the exact words when he came back were "I'm sorry guys I spoke with the sales manager and they aren't sure they even want to negotiate to the $692 that was offered yesterday."
"They also shared with the finance manager that the whole goal was to lower the payment compared to their trade in payment"
Yes we did and we ALSO told the finance manager that we understood the payment was higher since a truck was more expensive than our trade-in was but that we wanted to stay as close to the $675.92 we agreed and signed the contract on.
"Eventually BELLCO FCU gave us the best approval. Full dollars requested at 84 months @6.99% APR"
This is NOT correct... We were told the final APR would be 7.99% so the miscommunication on your end needs to be fixed.
