  • Holly is an amazing makeup artist, very talented at making people look their best. BUT!!! When it comes to hair, I had a very bad experience. I asked for balayage highlights (a la Giselle Bundchen). She said she could get the same look with foils. After rinsing, there was a straight line of highlights on either side of my head and I told her it wasn't what I wanted. So to fix it, she painted in some darker lowlights in between the lighter hair. When it was washed out and dried, she did not turn my chair to the mirror until it was styled and hair-sprayed to high heaven. The hairstyle disguised how bad the lines were but once I got home, I knew it was bad. Not wanting her to mess with it a 3rd time, I went to Rolf's and they fixed it as much as they could. She doesn't refund if you are unhappy, but will try to fix it. I paid $140 with a discount so I could go home and cry in my hair. I then paid $180 at Rolf's at Arrowhead in order to get normal looking, mediocre highlights without a line. So $350 with tips to look like I looked last summer for $40. Talk about a BAD HAIR DAY!!
