Attempting to buy furniture from Big's was quite frankly the most frustrating retail experience I've ever had including lots of lies and fraudulent charges to my credit card.
Against my better judgement, I decided to order a bedroom set from Big's because they were the only ones in Las Vegas who told me they could order the set I wanted. The sales associate Ken told me the furniture would be in within 2 weeks. After 3 weeks, with no furniture and no communication from Bigs, I called the store and was told by the receptionist that they didn't know where the furniture was but it should be in soon and that I could call after the weekend and they would have more info. Over a month after ordering the furniture and receiving the same "call back in a few days" treatment on 2 subsequent calls, I finally told them to cancel the order for the furniture.
Two months later, I receive a bill for the full amount of $3500 for the furniture that I had not received. At the time of purchase I was told that I would not be billed until the furniture was delivered. I called the store to ask what was going on and no one seemed to know and there was no manager available, I asked for one to call me and I never received a return phone call. I disputed the charge with my credit card and two months later they wiped the charge from my account.
Fast forward two months down the road and I receive a bill from my credit card company for $329 from Big's on the day after they credited me $3500. I had not been in the store since they day I had initially ordered furniture 3 months prior. Understandably, I had extremely upset as this store has now charged me twice without my consent: Firs for furniture I have never received and the second time billed me for a charge that I have no knowledge of and never authorized.
Avoid. At all costs. This business participates in very underhanded business practices and I would never recommend shopping there.
