  • I had the strangest experience at this place. I purchased a voucher for a massage and made an appointment weeks ago. At the time that I made the appointment I specifically requested a female therapist. When I got to the salon I was told that my therapist would be a male. Though I was disappointed I said it was no big deal and that I would like to go ahead with the massage. The therapist came out took me back to the room and told me that he was not comfortable going through with the massage as this was the seventh time this had happened to him. If this is the case why isn't the person taking appointments paying attention to what the client is saying on the phone? He said he was starting to take it personally and I had to reassure him that it was not a big deal but he did not want to go through with the massage knowing that I had initially wanted a female therapist. I was really embarrassed to be turned away. And I was incredibly annoyed at having wasted an entire evening arranging for a babysitter and postponing dinner plans just to make this appointment for a massage. I won't be returning to this place nor will I be choosing strip mall salons for spa services ever again. Lesson learned. Go to the high-end spas if you want quality service and professionalism.
