  • Glassbox is an outstanding example of the throwback barbershop trend; modern, comfortable, endlessly competent. I am not the coolest person in the world but these guys make me feel at home. And the service is unbelievable; they fuss over you and use every trick in the book to get you looking right. I've had a full beard for 15 years and these guys do the best trim ever, including cleaning up the lines with a straight razor (something I've never had done before.) They're very accommodating, and although I'd never just drop in on them again, the couple times I've shown up like a lost child looking for a trim, they've gotten me in immediately (don't do that to them; call ahead.) You can pay way more for a mediocre experience, and Glassbox's prices are insanely reasonable. I was referred to them after a disappointing experience somewhere else and they've totally surpassed my expectations and earned my loyalty. You can't support a more local business run by nicer people. And you'll look great doing it.
