  • After visiting the location in Phoenix I couldn't wait to go back to the closer location in Gilbert. I am not sure if I just went on an off afternoon because they were closing early for their holiday party or if the service and food is always this way. We were greeted and sat as soon as we walked in, but our server took quite a long time to get our drink and food order. He seemed very frustrated and busy. We both ordered the bruschetta and it took almost 40 minutes for it to get out to us. The entire inside of the restaurant had cleared out at this point because they were closing early so they did not have a ton of food orders to fill. After we hurry and ate (so we didn't keep the staff long since they were getting ready for their party) i could tell a huge difference in the presentation and taste of the bruscetta from the Phoenix location. It didn't seem as fresh, tasted off and looked like it was thrown together quickly so the toppings were everywhere. It just wasn't right. Big let down! Neither my husband nor I finished our plates and we asked for the check. That took about another 20 minutes. On top of that I had to ask for water 10 times and they kept forgetting. I think throughout the entire visit I had 2 refills, so I kept drinking my husbands water. Good thing he likes to share! After paying the tab by another server we were getting ready to walk out and our server finally came back around and passed us without speaking to us and mumbled "this is fu*&ing bu%%$#it I hate this stupid place." We all have our bad days so I am not going to blame him for the service, at that point we confirmed he was having a bad day. I am more upset about the food quality then I am over our server having a rough day, we have all been there. I am hoping I just visited you guys on a bad day, but will probably drive down to phoenix to get my bruschetta fix.
