  • Highly recommend Dennis! We worked with him for our 1 yr Australian Shepard, Alec, who was starting to show stranger anxiety. Alec is an extremely bright dog who has learned ~70 behaviors, but we noticed over the summer that he was becoming more vocal when people came to the house, and had tried "herding" a friend when we stayed at his house on vacation. Dennis was amazingly intuitive in picking up on Alec's behaviors and was very generous with his time on our first session. He has a way of explaining what Alec is showing with his reactions, and it is all based on behavioral science. After his first session, he sent some great reading materials as a way to reinforce what we need to be doing differently. Our biggest lesson is consistency across everyone in the family, and using calm and concise human responses . . . and now it is up to us to continue practicing what we learned.
