My family has been going to Los Olivos on 2nd St in old town for decades. I decided to stop by the location off Pima in North Scottsdale. I walked in and sat at the bar for dinner and a drink, where only four other people were sitting. The lounge area has 5 tables. The bartender (white/gray hair, older guy) sees me but acknowledges me a few minutes later by saying "I will be with you in a while". I smiled and said Ok as I was looking over the menu. He then comes back to me a few minutes later and rudely says "I have to be honest, it's going to be a while, I have a few people ahead of you. Those people over there (as he points) and these people over here. Did you want take out or something?". As he was saying this I couldn't help but to wondered if he forgot what industry he was in. I couldn't believe how rude he was. I bartended in my younger years and I never treated anyone like that! Unbelievable! I left and went to Carlos O'Brian's. Their bartender is ALWAYS smiling, greets you with enthusiasm, and treats everyone the same no matter how busy he is. I will NEVER go back to Los Olivos Norte again!
