  • My little girl Laika is alive thanks to the wonderful staff at Pet Urgent Care. I took her in the day after she stopped having an interest in food. She is a growing puppy and usually gobbles ANYTHING up. She tested positive for Parvo and they quoted me everything before they started treatment. Total for the first visit was $432 to do the treatment at home. Laika was prescribed anti nausea medication and antibiotics. They also gave her fluids in the office so she wouldn't be dehydrated. They were so kind and answered my hundred questions. The next day she was still not drinking water so my husband took her in because they recommended she get more fluids through an IV. They kept explaining the importance of keeping her hydrated. That was only $90. We fed her every 30 minutes and gave her fluids every 15 minutes. After the 5th day she started having energy and wanting to play but we still had to feed her with the syringe and also give her Pedialite with a syringe. On the 6th day her temperature was normal and she started drinking water on her own and eating a little as well. I called so many times asking questions about so many things. They were very patient with me and answered the phone outside of the hours posted online. I really feel that my darling little girl is alive and well because of them. I want to say thank you very much for the wonderful work that you do and for saving my little Laika.
