I've had Weiss on my "to try" list fotever, but today was was the first time I stopped by and there weren't a whole bunch of people waiting to be seated.
The restaurant was almost at capacity at 11:30AM when I was seated and by the time I left at 12:10, there was a line. That's always a good sign when you are looking at trying a new Restaurant.
Service was friendly and quick. I ordered the whole pastrami on rye with fries and it was delivered to the table in under 10 minutes.
The pastrami was delicious and even though some people would do a double take at the price, the portion was very large and well worth the cost in my opinion.
The pickle was very good and reminded me of going to the farmer's market in LA when I was a kid and my parents getting us kosher pickles. The pickled green tomato though... Wow! It blew me away.
I will definitely be back!
