Kind of sad I was very excited to try this
It took me awhile to decide on how many stars to give because I do see the potential of this place yet the drinks did not swept me off my feet. The split cup and "float" concept is mind blowing genius!
Ended up w 3 stars. I knocked down 2 stars bland flavor and 1 for services but I gave back 1 star for creativity. We ordered 3 drinks: classic float, Vietnamese coffee float and lychee shaken tea.
-service: was not upset because of the wait since I know it's crowded but timing was so off. However, the coffee float came out 15-20 mins after we had the other 2 drinks... the waitress apologized for the wait, which was nice but I would appreciate to know how why it takes that long? Like one in awhile the machine break down or if the drink itself take forever coz they have to brew it. In such case, it's nice to have a notice somewhere so we know not to order if it takes long and we gotta leave. I don't think I'm inpatient but seeing many people came after us left w drinks and we still waiting is not a pleasant feelings. In addition, I'm hoping to see the guy in front be more confident next time , noticed he was kind of avoiding eye contact
- the drinks are a bit bland.... Classic float was a little bland prior and tasted just like sweetened milk after mixing the float in. There was zero "tea" taste/smell. I think they should brew much stronger tea for the float version at least. As for the shaken tea, there s a weird and bitter taste afterward. Lychee bits are too big to suck up. Boba was a bit hard. I Hope to see improvement next time
