I will NEVER purchase another appliance from anywhere else! My husband and I purchased our first home in September, so we haven't had much experience with making large purchases.
Let me quickly explain my cook top nightmare! My cooktop cracked and I needed to replace it. I went to Home Depot and purchase one that was delivered the 14th. A week after the original one was cracked. Stupidly, I did not take the old one out before the new one was delivered. After the delivery men left, we realized that the new one didn't fit. Now we are in a losing battle to get Home Depot to take it back and refund our money. Then, I purchased one from Sears as I new it would fit as it is the same model. The website said I would have it by today, the 16th. When I didn't hear anything about my order being ready, I checked online only to see that it was now on back order and wouldn't be ready until the 23rd. We are now in week 2 of not being able to cook anything on a stove.
Out of complete frustration, I googled LOCAL appliance stores. I had completely forgot about Spencer's! I called and spoke to Jeff at the Tatum location. He was not only friendly, but he took down all the information he could and said he'd call me back with options. He called back in about 15 minutes with an extremely reasonable price and a model number for me to look at. I looked it over and it is PERFECT! I am picking it up from their warehouse tomorrow! I literally cried happy tears! Spencer's has a lifelong customer! Please don't change! Please keep the friendly local service that you offer now! I am so grateful for you!
