  • I've been to Hillside Spot a handful of times. The food has always been good, occasionally great! I love the vibe and the feel of the place, and like most, really want to support the local businessman! I agree with others...it is hard to get the rhythm down (where to get your silverware, napkins, drinks, etc.) the first couple of times...so be prepared (unless you come for the dinner service, where they actually seat and serve you). Their french fries are fantastic. One major downside are the flies (which were in full force my last visit). Overall, definitely worth a try!
