| - I tried one 30-min massage from Max, and one 1hr personal training from Finley.
---
Massage: he worked on my back, shoulder, neck, and head, where I have chronic stiffness and pain. His method is very powerful. Not rushed, and correct amount of pressure and angle to soften various hard spots.
The massage room isn't luxurious or anything, but it is clean and functional. (It's a room in the gym with a massage bed.)
Since he himself is an athlete and personal trainer. He knows what it means to get sore muscle after work-out. He understands it well, so he gave very nice and appropriate massage for active people (like me).
Deep massage, very effective.
---
Training: started gently with heart-pumping warm-up. We used bosu, medicine ball, elastic band, gym rings, ladder on the floor, rope etc. It was a lot of fun and very effective. Some killer work-out, but still it all felt very safe yet effective.
---
They also have some deal with their neighboring hot yoga studio (Moksha studio) where you can get a combined deal with classes from both places.
They also have outdoor group training, which sounds like a lot of fun. Both men and women.
---
I actually went there, thinking that it is Crossfit, but it doesn't seem related. The workout felt a little similar in that both uses a lot of props and combine some plyometrics.
