Miss Dessert is probably the first dessert shop if its kind in the Phoenix area and it definitely has a foot in the right direction. The desserts have less sugar than traditional desserts and they focus on fruits which makes the whole thing a bit more refreshing. We enjoyed the A4 (Thai purple sticky rice with mango in vanilla snow) as a whole - the sticky rice had good flavor/consistency, the mango was fresh, and the vanilla snow added a bit of sweetness, but the texture was noticeably icy. The mango pancakes came with a big chunk of fresh fruit in the middle and the pancake was light and thin, but there was a bit too much cream filling that ended up getting left behind. I like the decor inside and the presentation - the wooden tray that the order came on, the slate serving plate that held the mango pancakes, and the wooden spoon for the sticky rice all added an elegant charm. Price is on the higher end, but I'd be interested in coming back a few times to try the other desserts and drinks.
