My experience at ultas grand opening was not expected at all. I've been to the other ulta located on stephanie st. and have never been treated in this manner. At first i thought the staff was being friendly and providing good customer survice, but when they repeatedly kept asking if my friends and i needed baskets although we already had one and being stalked around the store by multiple employees we began to suspect it was a racial issue, (since we were the only people they seemed to be interested in.) It was our friends first time at ulta and she is inexperienced in makeup were showing her around and giving her a makeup 411. After a while it was obvious they were watching us when they started standing so close behind us, while we shopped, that my friend accidentally tripped on one of the girls foot. We spoke up to the manager about what was going on and how it was not only the most uncomfortable shopping experience, but it was also very offensive. She apologized and told us since they just opened they are over staffed, with alot of new inexperienced workers. So i believe this location deserves 1 star, i work hard and earn good money to buy the things i want. People should not be discriminated by the way they look.
