  • I was looking for a new nail salon that was more conveniently located for me and decided on Modern Nails after reading reviews on Yelp. I popped in after work (early afternoon) to see if I could get in without and appointment. Thankfully, they were able to take me. I found the staff to be friendly and professional. There was friendly conversation between the staff and customers, which I like. It was a bit of a challenge removing the SNS polish that I had on my nails, but I never felt like it was a problem for them. The owner explained to me the downside of the SNS system and why they do not offer it. I appreciate the information and would like to have been told that at the salon I previously went to. I changed back to gel polish and I'm very pleased with how my nails were done. When the staff member who was assisting me found out it was my first visit, she told me about their loyalty card. It's a feature I've never seen at another salon, but I love it. I am beyond pleased and will definitely go back again.
