I've only ate here one time at lunch and quite enjoyed it. This is one of those places that you'd never find unless one, you find it on the infamous Yelp!, or two, someone took you here because they knew about it --mine was the latter. The location is buried in a residential area of uptown Charlotte right off the beaten track --which really gives it a unique feel.
The insides kind of had the feeling of a snug, English style pub. It was quite small and the tables were pushed relatively close together. Its overall appearance was pretty clean despite its dark look and feel.
The food was pretty good. I got their club sandwich with fries and my kids got the grilled cheese --which looked and tasted great! The club sandwich was alright, using just regular deli meat and cheese on thick toasted bread.
The staff at this place were great. They were very friendly and polite and pretty efficient, too. The only downside to this place was I thought it was pretty expensive for what you got.
