  • Play or Draw (PoD) is probably the best hobby shop I have ever been to. Excellent inventory, terrifically clean and well organized space, lots of well attended events. To be completely honest, if I wasn't in grad school I would say it is easily always worth the drive. The owners, Joe and Andrew, are very helpful and have extensive knowledge about their main product, magic. In fact, Joe used to play on the professional tour. They're also there every day. They're pretty much the only two people working there which makes you feel like you're really getting to know the people running the business. This shop is terrific for: Standard Modern EDH PPTQs SCG IQs Any sort of other relatively large tournaments hosted in AZ They also fire legacy and draft every so often. Pretty much every player in Arizona knows about this place so if you're new to the area or passing through, definitely check it out. If you've been in AZ for a while and have been curious about the shop but never felt like venturing out, I'll just say this; It's worth it.
