| - I have taken my cat here previously on 4 different occasions; 2 visits were four days or less, 2 were eighteen and twenty-three days respectively. My cat is almost 9yrs old and I have had her since she was 6 weeks old. Each time (except for the last, will get into that in a moment) they had removed her collar and stated it was because they gave her a bath, she smelled nice and looked good. We also prepackaged her food to the exact amount we feed her at home, and, took her kitty bed and a couple toys so she had something from home. She didn't eat all her food on each occasion which is expected when you board a finicky cat! Now, for the most recent visit which was the 18 consecutive days; she looks terrible and smells like a cat box, again, her collar was removed but she definitely did not have a bath. Her fur is not matted, but it is at a state I have never seen before, like a person who goes to bed with wet hair! Except it's not clean. Her bed was crusted on the bottom with kitty litter, which tells me they had the bed placed directly by the litter box. She definitely has lost weight and looks sick. She barely ate any food at all, which explains the weight loss. BUT, she has been home 4 days and still has not ate any food; she also will not get in her kitty bed but has taken to hide in a closet all day. I am not sure what is going on, but this is not normal and I am very disappointed in the way my cat was returned to us. I am trying to get her into emergency vet today as I am worried, very worried. So, I give 3 stars based on 3 very good experiences, and one very bad.
