Used car sales department deceptive practices:
I've been trying to resolve an issue with the used car department for months. This started when my son flew to Phoenix to pick up a car we had paid cash for. It was a hard to find car and it was a good price, so worth the extra effort, we thought. The car was supposed to be ready to drive off the lot on the day he arrived. Instead when he arrived the salesperson told him the paperwork had not been updated properly and he wouldn't be able to take the car until the following week. The only solution was for us to pay additional $$ by credit card for an add-on we had previously declined. Then they would then send a check for that amount once the paperwork had been fixed. My son couldn't wait until the next week since he had flown to phoenix for the sole purpose of picking up the car. Long story short, we never got the check even after several written exchanges with the salesperson who said he had confirmed it was in the mail. We were duped. I've purchased several cars remotely in other states from other dealers and have never had a problem before. Stay away from this dealer.
