  • This is one of 5 steakhouses in Madison that I like. I don't usually rate chain restaurants, but this one is worth a try. I would put it slightly above Ruth's Chris in that category. The cuts of meat were top notch, and the wine selection, especially on the high end, was great. The wedge salad and calamari were excellent. The night we went last was very busy, and the service seemed a little slow, but that has not been my experience the previous times I have eaten here. When it's busy, the atmosphere can be a bit noisier than other restaurants in this price range, and the fast moving team of waitstaff add to the busy feel.
