I have a 2007 Cadillac SRX V6, purchased at Cadillac of Las Vegas, certified used in 2010. In the Cadillac forums and elsewhere on the net, it is widely acknowledged that this SRX V6 engine has an issue where the bottom seal of the spark plug tubes goes bad and oil starts to leak in from the bottom. Even though this is a well known fact, if you ask any service adviser at a Cadillac dealer, they will say they have never heard of the problem (which is laughable) and Cadillac will tell you this isn't a defect, isn't covered under any warranty and the only fix is 2 new heads. For a car that cost in excess of $ 50,000 when new, this should be embarrassing to Cadillac and its dealers.
