If you want a professional experience and someone good with kids, don't come here.
They have an "office policy" of no parents in the room even new patients. In my 15 years taking kids to the dentist, never heard such a thing for a simple filling. I stayed in the room regardless (they are strangers to us) but dr clearly disagreed and didn't like the "dynamic" of having parent present...I wanted to at least meet him and discuss treatment plan as new patients. Seems reasonable right? They were trying to get me out of the room before I even saw the guy..this is not standard practice. Then the dentist proceeded to use words like "pain" "pinch" "scary" to my daughter. Words never used in front of my kids before (usually they are so distracted by tv, the nice and stealthy dentist) even my daughter (tough as nails) was uncomfortable. Then the dentist left the room so fast afterward he didn't make sure all was okay. In the lobby I realize my daughter was bleeding (blood on her shirt and mouth) and I had to ask for gauze. This was all after they didn't research my dental plan in advance of appt and making us stand outside for 15 minutes before our appt because someone apparently forgot the key to the clinic.
