  • I tried to like this place, I really did. But the space is so thoughtlessly designed and about as un-yoga as you can get. The points: *pretty good instructors. *negative signs throughout the space: "no boots, sitting only", "no phones", "no long showers", and my personal fave, "banister/hand rail [beside stairs] for light support only. don't put all your weight on it." hahahaha. I'll be sure to remember to grip lightly as I'm falling down a flight of stairs en route to breaking my neck. alternatively, they could maybe bring the building up to code... *4 of the 5 times I've been here, there have been no hand towels in the washroom. disposable or reusable. *you can use their cups for water if you forget yours *rust and other uninviting stains in the showers *as you're lying in wait in the practice room, all zen and peaceful-like, you can enjoy the sounds of: -water flooding through the pipes every time a toilet flushes -depending on your location in the room, streams of urine hitting the toilet bowls above you -the taps being turned on and off -talking -creaking floorboards it's impossible to meditate or calm your mind whilst listening to all of that nonsense basically, if you want to do hot yoga, this place will suffice. if you want to enjoy it...that's another story.
