5-star presentation, but this place is lacking on flavor and atmosphere. I have been here 3 times, twice for the chicken and waffles (which really are amazing!) and most recently for the chicken verde. The latter was a bit of a disappointment- soggy chips and way too much verde sauce...I should've known to stick with what I knew. My boyfriend has gotten a few of the hash entrees and none were anything to write home about. Atmosphere is...confusing. Don't get me wrong I am all for trendy and upbeat, but IMO it's kinda weird to have a DJ blasting in the middle of breakfast. In south Scottsdale/old town they get away with it being that it's a BAR scene, but that's not at all the vibe up here. Service was okay, they were swamped every time I went so slow service was expected- just don't expect to be in/out!
