Went there for a business dinner before the hockey game. Friendly front of house and a great waiter who recommends the prime rib (only two left). My colleague and I both ordered that and a couple sides. Food came out pretty quickly. Steak was well prepared, average for a high end steak house, but in my opinion not worth the expense.
Downfall of the restaurant and the night: the chef who was expediting. During the meal the chef is loudly and profanely berating one of the line cooks for an improper preparation. This carries on for quite some time, dies down and then comes back again. The chef repeatedly calls him an f-n moron and an idiot. The line cook replies, mistakenly, that he was preparing the food as the chef wanted which prompted the response "I AM THE F-N CHEF!". If the line cook doesn't know who the chef is then you've got management issues. Additionally, this is an open kitchen so the whole restaurant heard this as it continued on. Unfortunately we were sitting close to the kitchen.
I don't understand this kind of behavior and it ruined a business meal, an expensive meal, and a new restaurant to me. I will not be going back nor taking any clients there.
