We had two AC units in need of replacement. So, we called three companies to get quotes. Jim from Adams gave us a much more thorough description of the work that was needed, and the price he quoted was very competitive. The thoroughness of his quote was ultimately the deciding factor for us when we went with Adams (incidentally Morris Jenkins wouldn't even come out to the house, but just gave us a rough estimate over the phone which completely disqualified Morris Jenkins in our minds).
The majority of the work took place over two days for two units. The crew stayed until everything was done properly and took care to wear shoe coverings to help avoid tracking in dirt. On final inspection day, Jim himself came out and helped complete some unfinished labor and arranged for the inspector to come out.
In our case, the inspector (maybe he was new?) misunderstood the scope of the work that was done and mistakenly failed us on the inspection. Jim tirelessly worked with the county to get them to correct the inspector's error. In the end, the inspector passed the work done, and we were good to go.
The Trane units work spectacularly and much better than the original Lenox units ever did. I highly recommend Adams and plan to call upon them for any future HVAC needs we may have.
