| - If it was possible to give this place "negative stars", I would. I am so disappointed by my experience with them and don't think anyone should give them a dime of their money.
I had a regular nail salon that I was going to, but recently moved closer to this nail salon so I decided to try it. I called them on a Sunday morning (knowing that Saturdays and Sundays are busy) to ask for an appt. I was hoping to get in at 11am, but he said they couldn't take me until 11:30am. I asked him how long the appt. would take them (for a gel manicure and pedicure) and he said 1 hour and 20-30 mins. That seemed reasonable and I felt like to could fit it in before my afternoon engagement.
I got there and he was assisting a customer. He (I'm assuming it's the owner) was helping a customer with a gift certificate, which I'm guessing was either expired or not valid for the service she had. He pointed it out to her several times in a pretty unfriendly way, but ultimately accepted the gift certificate after making her feel bad and ashamed.
Then it was my turn and he didn't greet me or acknowledge me. I said, I called and made an appt. for 11:30. He didn't say much more other than maybe muttered "ok". Then, he took a phone call and basically told a customer that he didn't have anyone that could help her today.
At 11:35 (after feeling unwelcome and ignored), I asked if my appt. would take approx. 1 hour and 20-30 mins. because I have some where to be, which is why I made an appt. in the first place. His response was only "you don't rush us."
My response was, "I don't think this is the right place for me. It's a shame because I was looking for a new place and ready to give you regular business." He didn't seem to care and I walked out. I won't step foot in the place again. I won't spend a dime there and I'm surprised they're still in business.
Additionally, there were a couple of nail techs just sitting and hanging out behind him that could have greeted me and gotten me started for someone else.
