  • More than 300 reviews? I'll keep this short and yes, SWEET! Mert's was a super fun, super food stop during a short visit to Charlotte. The place was hoppin' with activity, and the waitresses kept everyone happy by moving orders and food along with zip. Lots of fun wall decor, table decor, everywhere decor - evoking joy and longing for home comforts - just like the food they serve. Nothing fancy, just yummy catfish, lots of southern "sides", and cooked just right. A fun place to take guests, family, and to give your tastebuds a refresher course in southern home cooking. Get yourself on down there! Even we vegetarian/pescatarians can find plenty to enjoy here...
