We came here on a Friday night looking for a good oyster fix and a place to blow our $50 resort credit. I am not sure why the reviews are not better but i would definitely come back if i find myself at GVR again. Very casual, we walked in and took two seats front and center at the counter. First up was a dozen kumamoto oysters. Shucked right in front of us and with the usual accompaniments this was just what we were looking for. Best part of all $20!!! Are you kidding me? That is half you would expect to pay anywhere in Los Angeles, i almost got another dozen on principle but we had two dinners on there way. The fish and chips were solid and the pan roast with lobster, crab, and shrimp was awesome. Service was good and the overall experience is worthy of 4 stars.
