I'm a huge fan of Pho and Banh Mi places, and I've been trying as many as I can. Last time I was at Concord Mills I visited Pholicious before looking them up on Yelp. Fortunately, the telltale signs of issues were right in front of me.
Walk into the cramped store and there were a few people at the counter. An ice scoop was laying directly on the counter, also a cardboard tray of bread of lying on the floor. Yes, directly on the floor near a customer table. I decided between that and the few people already in line that weren't being helped yet that I should probably try something else.
Walked back by the storefront a few minutes later and sure enough, bread still on the floor. I'll stick with my usual Pho restaurants.
Do yourself a favor if you're thinking of visiting this place, go to Cabarrus Health Alliance's inspection page a look them up. It appears that safe food handling has been a problem for them since opening.
