My flight got delayed repeatedly. The flight was supposed to leaved at 1030p, then 11p then 1130p, then 1219a then 1230. Then we were waiting on the crew arriving. Then we were told they arrived and we would be bordering shortly and then with no explanation they announced the flight was cancelled. We were all herded off, denied or checked belongings and booked on the next available flight which was 7 hours away. We were offered s "discount" on a hotel through and denied our belongings. The whole reason I was headed to Williamsburg was for a day long convention starting at 8am tomorrow where I was running a booth.
I understand these things happen, but by being denied my belongings I cannot even show up reasonably late as I only have the clothes on my back and nothing to get me professionally prepared for the event hygenically or in the way of proper dress.
The staff at the airport did not care. I called American Airlines and they were unwilling to do anything for me. This is terrible customer service and moving forward for both my business and pleasure travel I will no longer book American. My trip is ruined and pointless at this point and no one affiliated with your company cares so I will be sharing this experience with my colleagues.
