We always had good service from Bailey until we found out that our coverage was changed. uninsured and underinsured motorist had been removed from my policy without our knowledge we were told we did not need med pay after our daughter was in an accident we called back in to add med pay and were told again that we did not need it we have tried to reach out toProgressive to file and errors and omissions claim against the agent. Everybody we speak with at progressive seems to have amnesia when it comes to square dealing. Update below.
Progressive has done nothing to assist in the matter. They claim that agents are contractors and progressive as a whole does not control their business practices. We have to eat $6000 in out of pocket because an agent decided we did not need med pay without proper explanation. We actually had to call 800 number to add this to our policy as the agent refused to sell this to us after we insisted it be added to avoid out of pocket in future situations. Lesson for all. Sit and make your agent explain things. Research for yourself before you take anyone's word that you are "completely" covered. Also beware that an agent is not "shaving" coverages to drop your quote just to write your policy. Bad bad bad progressive. Flo would definitely be embarrassed. We will go out of our way to tell others about our service experience.
