I first learned about this new tea shop when I saw them giving away free samples. They are located on the top floor where the signage is hard to miss and the inside has dark walls and dark furniture. I personally don't like the look because I prefer bright spaces and colors.
When I visited asking about herbal teas the staff were helpful showing me a few different tins but the selection is not huge, like David's Tea. Also, they don't have simple teas like chamomile. There are some interesting smelling tea mixes though. I ended up trying a green tea mix, which didn't taste particularly different from other green teas. I also sampled a chai tea mix which I did not enjoy because it tasted like licorice and cardamom and was just not to my taste.
My co-worker also mentioned checking out the place but after she ordered and paid, she was told that they ran out of cups! When she asked when they would have more cups she was told they don't know. That was a strange thing to happen.
With other options, like Aroma, Starbucks, and Tim Hortons in the mall I won't be going back any time soon.
