  • I'm pretty much an Eat Local kind of girl but we do have lots of company visiting Vegas so its good to scope out places along the strip before they arrive. We made reservations at Fix but all 3 times we've ended up in the bar. It is really comfortable seating. Wide couches and great chairs. The restaurant part as well has great FA chairs so BONUS! Side NOTE: if you sit in the bar - sit along the far wall in the front. It is GREAT people watching spot without being creepy. Each table has an ipad with their menu - both drinks and food. Cocktails: We started off with bloody marys (shock huh) and yes - bonus for stocking cucumber vodka. I also tried (over 3 visits) Raspberry Sin - berry berry yummy Pimm's Cup - really good and refreshing. San Juanito - perfect way to end the meal. chocolate & coffee in liquid form. Food: Wrapped Dates: great flavor & the wine reduction was perfect Bobby Baldwin Sliders: Ok I could very easily fall in love with whoever Bobby Baldwin is just for these sliders. Perfectly cooked ground kobe topped with onions caramelized just enough & a big slab of melted cheddar. Very Adult Mac & Cheese: My preference is without the truffle oil but if you like truffle oil the rest of the dish is delicious. Tomato soup: NOT your Campbell's version. It is a hearty soup that could be a meal in itself. robust yet a creamy texture. Served with a mini grilled cheese. ... and the drinks were never empty. I looked up my bills & averaged them: with several cocktails they averaged about $178.00 per trip. NOT the cheapest but so worth it. Down & Dirty: ***** FA Seating **** Food **** Cocktails ***** Service So technically this is 4.5 stars. C'mon yelp - give us a 1/2 option.
