I wouldn't advise any paint done by this shop. They are super nice and friendly, and you can tell they care about being kind to customers, but the quality of the work is not great.
I dropped my Scion xB off 8 days ago to have it repainted a different colour because the factory paint had peeled pretty bad in the AZ heat. So I paid to have it painted black. They said 3-5 days.
I called them a few days later to check on status and was told the car was painted the wrong color. Ok, no problem; people make mistakes it's all good take all the time you need. Following that, I was told every day "it'll be ready tomorrow for sure" and then it was never ready. I don't mind the extra time it took, but it would have been nice to just been told it'll be an extra 5+ days to fix it so I could plan accordingly with the persons car I was borrowing.
Anyway; I picked my car up today. The whole car is orange peel paint texture. Ok, that sucks but I'll get over it. The hood has 3 bubbles that will peel soon, I can already tell. And then I saw my turn indicator on the side of my car. Picture included of the worst part of the paint job.
I just am devastated that I have to find someone else to fix this. I don't know how much work is involved in fixing drips, but I don't really think I trust Maaco to do it. Maybe I'll take it to a different Maaco? My car is my baby and I'm just crushed that the details were not paid attention to. The car looks good from afar, but I feel like it should just look good in general. :/
Overall: not super in love with it but looks better than it did when it was peeling. If drips are fixed I'll be stoked.
