Stayed at a studio suite for 2 nights.
Decor was really modern and chic. The lobby was really dark, which looked cool but probably not ideal for those with poor vision.
Walk to Palms Casino wasn't bad at all. You go through this thing called SkyTube, which is neither in the sky nor is a tube. But there you go.
We drove to Vegas from LA, so we didn't have problem with being off-strip. But i could see what a hassle it would be for people without a car, having to cab it everytime. It's NOT a walking distance. So if you won't have a car in Vegas, I suggest booking a hotel on the Strip.
One negative thing about the hotel was there's no direct way to go from the parking structure to the hotel. You have to go outside the building and re-enter. It was a hassle, but not a deal breaker.
Drinks at the casino bars were cheap.
We had a breakfast at Simon on our last day, and it was pretty satisfying. It was a Monday morning, so the place was pretty much dead. But the waitress was friendly, and the pancakes we got were very fluffy and soft.
