Booked my room 2 weeks ago and after traveling from nyc to Toronto, I come to the front desk of this hotel to check in. They told me that there was a problem and that they did not have my room and I would have to go somewhere else. They offered to put me in another hotel 20 mins away and told me all hotels in the area was booked. They told me there was nothing they can do. They told me that they called me 3 weeks ago (although I only booked 2 weeks ago) to inform me there was an issue and my reservation was canceled. They told me that there was a massive flood on one of the floors and they had to evacuate all their guest in that floor. After I calmly told them that I could not take another hotel 20 mins away and demanded they find me something else, they got the manager involved. Manager told me another story that they had a massive system issue which overbooked all their reservations. Manager told me the only thing in the area is a hotel that is like a dorm room and asked me if I would like to stay there. Manager told me to go book another hotel at their computer and let him know if I need help. Manager disappears. I found another hotel across the street. Cost me a few about 25 dollars more a night. These people are incompetent at this hotel. Disgrace how they treated me and never really found out the truth on what happen to my hotel room.
