A friend asked to meet and eat here. He liked it because it reminded him of a Parisian bistro/cafe. It seemed slightly like one but I wasn't particularly intrigued by the decor or slighly more upscale ambiance of the restaurant. The service was quite good though. The food wasn't particularly interesting to me. I had the soup of the day ($4.50) which was cream of the in-season vegetables and a rosette de lyon sandwich ($8) which was basically salami on a baguette. When the waiter mentioned it was a sausage, I guess I imagined more of an American or german style sausage. Not that it was bad but it was a salami sandwich you could find in any sandwich shop. I guess I would've perferred something a little more distinctly French. The sandwich came with a side of fries, which were a bit soggy for my taste. The service again is what really shone in my meal here. There's also a nice outdoor patio to eat in if the weather cooperates.
