| - Of the 3 Gordon Ramsy establishments we tried, this one fell below expectations. As a Yelp foodie first and foremost is taste, and that was definitely lacking for me.
Food: I got the Aline Chicken dish, the description sounded super flavourful but the dish fell flat. Presentation was nice, when it came I was excited to try it, the chicken leg looked crispy, but it truly had no taste. I've cooked tastier chicken myself. The beans with parsnip as well lacked taste, so it was dry tasteless chicken on a lot of tastless beans with some chopped veggies for $29. Not good value either. My husband had the Sheppard's Pie, which he says was better than my dish but not amazing, $24.
Service: lacking in a sense, server did not recommend any "most popular" dishes, and maybe this is where the problem started because I may have ordered a so so dish to start. What was annoying was we asked to split the bill, he forgot to, left, then started serving other ppl/stuff and forgot about our bill, then finally came back and stood there while we were paying. This is annoying as I would think most restaurants train their staff to not stare while you pay.
It seems like this restaurant tries to do too much with the menue, ranging from steak to burgers to sandwhiches to pub food (pies, etc.), fish n chips, etc. Suggest they scale down the menue and focus on making what is on a condensed menue super tasty to live up to the Gordon Ramsy name.
Overall, will not come back on my next travel and would not recommend.
