I came here at around 7:15pm on a Wednesday night. It was easy to find the bakery as the sign upfront was lit up brightly.
No lineup. There was nothing in their display case when I got there and when I asked them if they had anything left, they only had their regular cheesecake. They also have chocolate cheesecake and coffee cheesecake but those were sold out. They also have a sample cheesecake there to let you try before you buy it which was awesome.
The cheesecake itself was very moist and spongy. I like how they had directions on how to store and prepare to eat the cheesecake. I struggled with opening the box and I had to rip the box though in order to get it to open.
Overall, Uncle Tetsu has a new tough competitor in this Toronto craze for Japanese cheesecake.
