  • Charlotte has a lot of Latin American themed cuisine, but good lord y'all, this is a whole new experience. First of all, they barely speak english- so please don't try to call and place an order over the phone unless you know EXACTLY what you want and what all the options are going to be. Only amounts to confusion and frustration. And you can't pay over the phone with a card because apparently they don't have that part of the english vocab down yet. Second, get a bean and cheese papusa. And plantains. And any kind of kabob- they're all magnificent. Third, expect everything to be about as fresh as it could possibly be. The meat, the vegetables, the tortillas- they're all done to perfection with none of that greasy mexican feeling afterwards. Love this place. I try and go a couple of times a month with family and friends and we have yet to order something someone didn't like.
