Really Safelite?
That's almost all the effort I want to give this review. For the most part - the staff here is friendly and willing to answer your questions. Attention to detail? Not so much.
I went in to have my windshield on my (not even three month old) Altima repaired yesterday morning and was told it wasn't going to happen. While dissapointing and not Safelite's fault, I was still sad. That being said they did not have time available for the replacement and I was told I would have to wait a considerable amount of time or I could come back later in the day. I came back at 2pm the same day & surprise! The windshield they wanted to replace mine with was broken... "sorry, you'll have to come back tomorrow."
So, I traveled there this morning - and when the technician came out to do the preinspection I thought he was joking when he said, "we have some bad news." Turns out - the shipment was never delivered and I would have to wait YET AGAIN (not to mention drive another 60 miles roundtrip) to come back when they could get the windshield in. I nearly threw a fit.
The manager came out and was nice enough to say that he was having someone drive a windshield up from Akron for me. Unfortunately my hour and a half wait turned into nearly two and a half hours. Aside from that Safelite used a PGW replacement and not Pilkington which I thought was unfortunate. The "shade" line at the top of my windshield is almost nonexistant and you can see right through it. I miss my factory windshield.
If I ever need another one (god forbid) I don't know that I will return here unless I'm forced.
As for the parking - there's enough, as for the waiting room - it's small, not climate controlled and had baby spiders running around everywhere, ew!
Mobile service next time, for sure.
