Pupusas are typical El Salvadorian food. They are thick tortillas stuffed with minced pork meat, beans, cheese or vegetables and I got one of each. I can hear the cook patting at the tortillas after she filled them. I say this could be your mother in the kitchen quietly taking care of you like she has done all her life.
My dinner is served hot and fresh off the grill. My plate is simple but nice. My very kind server brings a bowl of red sauce and a bowl of curtido, which is pickled cabbage and carrots. I used both per bite of pupusas, so good. Also came with rice and beans. 8.
Unquestionably this was an excellent meal.
