| - Usually, I have had wonderful experiences at the saguaro, but last night, New year's eve 2015 was a most unpleasant exception. We were told that there would be the usual exceptional chef Garza inspired dishes for a buffet, and drinks,as well as music. It sounded like a lot of fun, but what we found for our combined price for two of nearly $350 was a long drink line, a very small cup of salad, and not even a coat check. It was a shame that some very scamey promoters made a mockery of what was a very nice hotel which usually has very good food and service. I am wondering if the owners of the hotel chain that owns the saguaro know what a mess their usually lovely hotel was reduced to. We travel often, and consider the saguaro our, home away from home ,when in Arizona. At this point, I will be making other choices.
