Went to see the movie "Lion" with my co-worker/friend Patrick and honestly it looked like a mini Harkins theater. It was my first time here and I was fascinated by all the different character manikins from various movies. I wanted to take pics of all of them but there were too many! I didn't pay for my ticket but Patrick told me it was only $3.50 per person. Who can beat that price?? The room was maybe half the size of a normal theater seating but I had no problem sitting close to the screen. And of course someone brings their baby to a movie theater that whined and cried several times. I don't know who's louder...the baby or Patrick?? Hahaha I know the answer to that! The movie was based on a true story about a 5 yr. old boy named Saru getting lost in another city far away from his hometown in India. He ends up getting adopted by an Australian couple and years later he tries to find his real family. Well I think you know where im going with this..ok I admit it I cried maybe 5 times during this movie. I couldn't hold it in when Saru and his family were reunited and neither can Patrick. Sorry Pat I had to say it haha and at the end of the movie I was the one crying as loud as the baby.
