From the beginning it was all bad. The waiter dropped soy sauce on one of us and never apologized. Uni was super brown and not okay to eat. It was very difficult to get our servers attention to make more orders.
And I've came before with a big party of 50 for our work party. And they did well.
But this time it was just weird service the moment we got there.
At the end our bill came out 300. With gratuity already added "20%" which should be standard of 18%.
We gave them 180 in cash and the rest in card which is 120 right ?! But they charged our card 220. We spoke to our server and he said we only gave him 80. That we short him 100. We distinctively counted that money many times. We asked him to check again. He gives us attitude and checked again. He came back saying you guys only gave 80 and saying that we were wrong. We were trying to be understanding but he gave us Attitude making it our fault. We asked to talk to the manager he said he's busy. So we asked to count the register. He said I will check our cameras. (This took over 40 mins by the way)
He came back the 3rd time saying alright do you want to void the cc charge. We said so were you wrong? Didn't bother to apologize right away. And it took him a couple mins to admit it. The whole time he could've handled it better by not arguing with us. Which is rude and unacceptable in this industry. All of us work in hospitality and understand to not make the customer accused.
The owner came out and apologized but didn't offer a discount or anything but said, "come back next time, I will take care of you"
Who would want to come back to that ?
