  • Did I go to the wrong place? Did I go on the wrong day? Did I order the wrong thing? I was so excited to try this place. With stellar reviews and a line out the door, it had to be the bomb, right? Unfortunately, I really wanted to love this place but I just didn't. Based on reviews, I went early to avoid the lunch rush. Luckily, there was no line yet. Staff was very nice and kept checking on me while I was waiting on my colleagues. Didn't have to wait too long for our food and by that time ,sure enough, the line was out the door. I had the slider trio with pork, brisket and hot links. The pork and hot links were good, but nothing that different or special. The BBQ sauce was decent. I was completely disappointed with the brisket. It has so much fat in it that I didn't eat about half of it. Now mind you, I like leaner cuts of meat and I know some people like the fat, but this was just way too much. Those at the table also got the bacon potato salad, the waffle fries and the corn nuggets. All were just ok - nothing great. If I'm in the neighborhood, I'll give it another try, but I won't go out of my way - it just wasn't worth it.
